We are looking for a Tax Accounting Manager to enhance our Partner Tax team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing individual income tax compliance, tax projections, counseling, and financial support for our partners.
  • Reviewing staff-prepared work papers and tax returns for accuracy and compliance with tax law.
  • Conducting in-depth research on complex tax issues to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Communicating intricate tax concepts clearly to partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with clients, providing support throughout the year.
  • Collaborating on projects while meeting deadlines and working independently.
  • Upholding professionalism and integrity in our courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of recent experience in reviewing federal and state individual tax returns in a professional services setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA eligibility preferred, along with Enrolled Agent status or active CPA.
  • Proficient in web-based document storage, income tax software, and Microsoft applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong technical knowledge in High Net-Worth Individuals and Multi-State Taxation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, robust research capabilities, and strong client management skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak tax seasons.
