Field Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

• Workdays/Hour Rotation - as necessary: The job requires rotating shifts that begin at 5:00 AM and finish at 5:30 PM
• The first week of the schedule requires being present at work from Monday to Tuesday, followed by Thursday to Sunday, with a break on Wednesday
• Week two's Tuesday and Wednesday are blocks of time in the middle of the week, with Monday being a designated day of rest and Thursday through Sunday bringing the week to a close
• The norm for working hours every two weeks equals 96.

Compensation:

Depending on prior experience, this job pays up to $32.00 an hour, with local incentives such as referral bonuses and an extra week's pay for the candidate.

General Purpose

In this position, the person in charge is accountable for leading a team, as well as troubleshooting and delivering swift preventive and corrective Field Maintenance Technician to production lines, while also facilitating change-over.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend to equipment breakdowns promptly by conducting problem diagnosis and undertaking necessary repairs.
• Upgrade and establish state-of-the-art instruments.
• The process of fabrication and reconstruction is a vital aspect of the manufacturing process.
• Conduct upkeep of the facility and promote a hygienic and secure workspace.
• Create a List of Parts Needed: First, create a comprehensive list of parts required to ensure sufficient inventory. This list should include all the parts used regularly, as well as the ones that have seasonal demand.
• Execute work orders in a timely manner according to established guidelines and deadlines.
• Conduct the alteration of appliances and the establishment of manufacturing structures.

Qualifications:

• This job opening mandates a High School diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
• If you possess a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field, that would be the ideal qualification for this position.
• For this position, we require candidates to have 0-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical and electrical experience is preferred, with a minimum of one year required.
• To be considered for this position, prior experience in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance is preferred.
• Former involvement in a speedy industrial landscape.
• Exhibited a strong aptitude for mechanics and technical problem-solving.
• Basic computer skills.
• The aptitude to assimilate the requirements and diagrams outlined by the manufacturer.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is preferred but not required.
• The supply of hand tools may be a requisite.
