Job Description:

  • Work Schedules/Hour Rotation - if necessary: The job necessitates a rotating shift schedule starting at 5:00 AM and ending at 5:30 PM
  • Week one's schedule outlines working for six days, excluding Wednesday, with working hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • The second week's Tuesday and Wednesday are considered the halfway point of the week, with Monday being a scheduled break and Thursday through Sunday concluding the week
  • An average work schedule entails 96 working hours in a period of 14 days.

Compensation:

The hourly payment for this position can be as high as $32.00, based on previous experience, with local benefits such as referral incentives and the possibility of an extra week's worth of salary.

General Purpose

This role requires leadership skills to manage a team, as well as expertise in troubleshooting and providing immediate Maintenance Apprentice for production lines, while also facilitating change-over.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct problem diagnosis and carry out prompt equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform a complete renovation and installation of modern equipment.
  • The process of fabrication and reconstruction is a vital aspect of the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the facility and promote a clean and secure working area.
  • Track the Order Progress: After placing the order, it is important to track the progress of the order. Regular communication with the supplier will help ensure timely delivery of the parts.
  • Efficiently handle multiple work orders simultaneously, prioritizing urgent tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Perform the transformation of equipment and the preparation of production setups.

Qualifications:

  • To qualify for this job, candidates must have either a High School diploma or an equivalent.
  • If you possess a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field, that would be the ideal qualification for this position.
  • The position calls for candidates with a background in industrial maintenance, preferably with 0-5 years of experience.
  • A candidate with a preference for a year or more of mechanical and electrical experience is preferable.
  • We are looking for someone with a proven track record in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Previous engagement in fast-moving industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated a sound understanding of mechanics and technical processes.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • The capacity to adhere to the detailed instructions and diagrams provided by the manufacturer.
  • It would be beneficial to have some knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
  • The supply of hand tools may be a requisite.
