Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Kansas Paving / Kansas Ready Mix is looking for an amazing, experienced Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanics to maintain and repair our fleet of Construction equipment, trucks, trailers and Cement mixer trucks.

We would like a minimum of one year experience with heavy duty diesel trucks; including electronic diagnosis, troubleshooting and repairs.

Candidate MUST have a valid Driver's License and pass a 5-panel drug test.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience or 1+ year of experience combined with a Diesel Tech Degree.
• Must have own tools. Applicant must have complete set of tools to do the required job functions, diagnostic tools are provided.
• Must have a valid driver s license and be insurable under the company s insurance plan.
• Be able to operate with minimal supervision, trouble shoot and take initiative to investigate and resolve problems. Must be a self starter, and get along well with others.
• A working knowledge of related maintenance skills such as welding, electrical and mechanical systems, engines, and brakes are necessary.

8-12 hour work days (mostly 10 hour days), Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
