Radiology Technologist

FLSA Status: Exempt (Full -Time); Non-Exempt (Part-Time and Call-In)

Produces x-ray images by performing x-ray procedures requested by the physician using radiology equipment. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.

Current State of Hawaii Radiographer licensure.

Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and completion of a formal radiologic training program.

Models REHAB's core values, HEART, in daily actions. Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs.

Takes x-ray images and processes quality x-rays (i.e. clearly identified x-rays, correct x-rays, clear x-rays). Review and evaluate images to determine quality and if they need to be redone.

Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.

Understands the diversity of patient's needs, and demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient.

Follows and adheres to all organizational and departmental policies and guidelines, code of conduct, and REHAB employee handbook.

Maintain a high level of proficiency in the following REHAB competencies.

Communication and interpersonal/relationship building skills

Organization and project management

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS USED

Office equipment, including telephone, computer and multifunction devices (MFDs). Google's G Suite, report writer and database software.
