FULL-TIME In Home Caregiver Ballantyne area 12 HR shifts DAY AND NIGHT

JOB TITLE: In-Home Aide

REPORTS TO: Registered Nurse Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: The In-Home Aide will assist with limited hands-on care, companion, sitter, respite and home management tasks as required by the client.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Core Personal Care Tasks:

a. Assisting with Mobility, including ambulation, transfers and bed mobility

b. Assisting with bath/Shower

c. Assisting with Toileting

d. Assisting with Dressing

e. Assisting with Eating

f. Assisting with Continence needs

2. Companion Services include:

a. Socialization

b. Driving/escorting to appointments

c. Medication reminders

d. Shopping and errands

3. Homemaker services include:

a. Meal preparation

b. Light housekeeping tasks

c. Laundry

d. Changing linen on bed

e. Empty trash

f. Sweeping

g. Mopping

h. Vacuuming

4. Sitter and Respite Services include:

a. Providing long or short-term supervision and monitoring for the client in their home to ensure safety and well-being

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma/GED

2. Good listener

3. Valid driver’s license

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
