Medical Social Worker- Dallas County, TX Home Health PRN MSW

Aurora Home Health is looking for experienced and caring Medical Social Worker (MSW) to join our growing team for PRN position in the Dallas County, TX area.

Medical Social Worker is responsible for the assessment of referred patients with speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing and cognitive disorders, that require rehabilitation services.

The Therapist will provide direct patient care, which includes an assessment of patients medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation; will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.

The Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.
