Barista Cashier

Job Overview

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas and dining spaces.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive interactions with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
