They are seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to expand their transportation market presence, focusing on client engagement, project delivery, and leadership within the Greater New Orleans area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for LADOTD and municipal clients, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction
• Drive strategic growth of Mott MacDonald’s transportation market in Louisiana, focusing on both design and CE&I services
• Identify and pursue new opportunities with LADOTD and local agencies; lead proposal development and presentations
• Manage transportation and municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to deliver complex projects effectively
• Implement risk management strategies and maintain compliance with LADOTD standards and procedures
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff
• Foster a collaborative team environment that emphasizes technical excellence and professional growth
• Support strategic pursuits and client relationship management to expand our footprint in Louisiana
• Collaborate with leadership on market strategies and resource planning

Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 7+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects, including roadway design and/or CE&I
• Demonstrated experience working with LADOTD standards, processes, and project delivery methods
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong client-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects (roadway, drainage, utilities)
• Familiarity with alternative delivery methods and DOT funding programs
• Business development experience and ability to lead strategic pursuits
• Prior experience mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development
