Role Description The Program Operations Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brentwood, TN, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of educational programs, ensuring that program schedules, materials, and resources are in place for students, volunteers, and partner schools. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing program timelines, tracking participation and outcomes, maintaining accurate records and program data, and supporting communication with sponsors, volunteers, and school partners. The Program Operations Manager collaborates with internal teams to improve processes, resolve operational issues, and support smooth delivery of programming and events. The role also contributes to reporting, basic budgeting support, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program quality and reach.

Qualifications

  • Program and project management skills, including coordinating multiple initiatives, managing timelines, and overseeing logistics.
  • Operational and administrative skills such as data tracking, documentation, process improvement, and basic budgeting or resource management.
  • Communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with students, volunteers, sponsors, school partners, and internal teams.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in education, youth programs, nonprofit operations, or related fields, with an interest in financial literacy, STEM, or workforce development.
  • Comfort with using standard office and collaboration software (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, project management or CRM tools, video conferencing platforms).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, attend meetings and events in Brentwood, TN as needed, and collaborate across a mission-driven team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as education, business, nonprofit management, or social sciences) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
