Project Manager - Central Region

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage the field team in collaboration with the Division Manager and Estimator.

Set project objectives and align them with corporate policies and procedures, including EEO and affirmative action responsibilities.

Represent the company in liaison with primary owner representatives and attend weekly owner meetings.

Monitor and control construction by administratively directing on‑site superintendents to ensure projects are built on schedule, within budget, and meet all obligations.

Manage job administration and contract documentation with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Oversee the financial aspects of contracts, including job cost reports, billings, budget changes, change orders, accounts payable processing, and collections.

Create and execute project work plans, revising them as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

Identify required resources and assign individual responsibilities.

Handle day‑to‑day operational aspects of a project and its scope.

Review deliverables prepared by the team before submission to clients.

Apply Griffith methodology and enforce project standards.

Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

Minimize exposure to project risk.

Provide safety and quality control management.

Maintain accurate forecasting and management of budgets.

Manage subcontractors and project team members.

Resolve problems involving labor disputes, material deliveries, and contracts/subcontract administration.

Oversee document control and coordination of subcontractors.

Initialize baseline schedules and ensure accuracy and integrity of project schedules.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Minimum of a bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience acceptable.

Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and risk management.

Skills & Competencies

Strong work ethic and excellent time‑management skills.

Knowledge of public contract code.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills.

Proficiency in project change identification and project projections.

Understanding of production, time‑impact analysis, and time‑related overhead.

Knowledge of critical path methodology and delay tracking.

Valid driver's license.
