Hardin Valley TN company is seeking a Shipping Associate!

Pay: $15.00/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

Schedule: SUN-WED 8:00am-4:30pm

Duties and responsibilities:

• Process and prepare orders: Obtain orders and accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipment.
• Coordinate with carriers: Arrange for carrier pickups and prepare necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing slips.
• Track shipments: Monitor and update the status of outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Operate equipment: Use equipment like forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload goods.
• Manage inventory: Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace: Keep the shipping area clean and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Inspect products: Verify the contents and quality of products before they are shipped.
• Handle documentation: Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete, logging information into warehouse management systems.
• Communicate with teams: Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and other warehouse teams to resolve any issues and improve processes.

Skills and qualifications:

• Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and proper documentation.
• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members, carriers, and supervisors.
• Technical proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and RF scanners.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment is often preferred.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $15.00 Per Hour
