We are seeking a skilled Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this vital role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly and efficiently, supporting our commitment to dependable transportation services. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, including engine overhauls, air brake systems, alignments, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools to ensure proper fit and function.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery for maintenance or repair tasks.
• Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and inspection documentation promptly.
• Assist with tire service, wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and general equipment assembly or disassembly. Skills
• Proven dealership experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and automotive diagnostics.
• Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; capable of working with schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or inspections.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
