Medical Assistant – Endocrinology (36 Hours/Week)

Fast-paced outpatient Endocrinology office seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. Spanish bilingual strongly preferred to support effective communication with our patient population.

Responsibilities include:

• Phone / fax management and patient communication
• Preparing charts and verifying insurance / eligibility
• Processing visit, medication, and referral authorizations
• Rooming patients and assisting with clinical workflow
• Demonstrating medication / medical device use as needed
• Occasional administration of IM / SC injections

We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and team-oriented attitude. Experience preferred, though we are willing to train an exceptional candidate.

You will work alongside other medical assistants in conjunction with Dr. Opgaard and 3 Nurse Practitioners in a collaborative outpatient setting.
