Job Overview

Duties

• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, including special education needs and early intervention techniques.
• Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing performance data to tailor instruction effectively.
• Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate interactive lessons.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies, fostering a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support student development, including mentoring new teachers or working with children with autism or other special needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance data, and behavioral reports in compliance with educational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, classroom management, and innovative teaching methodologies such as Montessori or library services integration.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with children from early childhood through elementary levels is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional delivery across core subjects like literacy and math.
• Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and special education requirements.
• Experience using learning technology platforms for instruction and student progress monitoring is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and data analysis to support student achievement goals.
• Background in private school environments or Montessori education is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
