What You’ll Do
As a School Counselor, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding students toward graduation and future success. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team to ensure every student receives the support and resources needed to thrive in a virtual learning environment.
In this role you will:
Empower students to make informed course selections and develop personalized graduation plans
Partner with admissions, enrollment, and Success Coaches to deliver seamless student experiences
Evaluate transcripts and academic records to ensure accurate placement and progress tracking
Provide exceptional service to students and families through multiple communication channels
Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements
Monitor student progress, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
Who You Are
You have a Master’s degree in School Counseling and experience supporting grades 6–12
You are skilled in high school counseling and/or school leadership
You have strong communication and professional writing skills
You are knowledgeable about legal and compliance requirements in school counseling
You are experienced in virtual or hybrid learning environments
You are data-literate and comfortable with digital tools and student information systems
You are flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities
You are collaborative, student-centered, and committed to positive relationships
You are entrepreneurial and eager to take ownership of diverse tasks
You are committed to inclusion, integrity, and Edmentum’s mission
You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs

Pay range for this role:
$55,000 $60,000 USD
At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
