Location: St. Louis

Job Purpose: We are looking for a mature, dedicated employee to answer calls from a variety of stakeholders and communicate with mobile units for appropriate responses. Our Dispatchers are expected to remain calm, clear, and in control, especially in emergency situations. They should always know the appropriate responses, in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will track and monitor situations by phone and radio, and document any situations reported by those in the field.

This position plays a vital role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

Description: Dispatchers are communication personnel responsible for receiving and transmitting reliable messages, tracking vehicles and equipment, and recording other important information.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch work orders to Field Technicians, Collectors, and Boot Officer in a timely manner
  • Coordinate activities of Field Technicians, Collectors, and Boot Officer to ensure service issues are resolved according to contracted commitments
  • Monitor Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO) activities, call orders, and breaks
  • Document all dispatch and field activities
  • Manage files, call logs, data logs, and correspondence in a monthly/yearly filing system
  • Assist administrative team with daily tasks and special projects
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and promptly
  • Present daily reports as assigned, detailing service performance
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year administrative experience preferred
  • 1 year customer service experience

Technical Skills:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise at multiple levels
  • High level of accuracy, speed, and data entry skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to relate well with others and work in a team environment
