Instructor: Automotive Technology
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the TPT-Transportation department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
- Serve as a technical expert and effective instructor for the Automotive program.
- Assist in developing curriculum material, oversee student projects, and present instruction.
- Design tests and exams; assign grades, schedule courses, and advise students.
- Oversee selection and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist in recruitment and placement of students.
- Prepare administrative reports.
- Keep current in technical and professional knowledge.
- Actively participate in the team management concept of the college.
- Perform other duties as assigned by department head.

Minimum qualifications: Associate degree in Automotive Technology or High School Diploma with six years of demonstrated Automotive work experience; the ability to obtain ASE Master certification status within the first two years of employment; a valid driver's license; and ability to lift a range of 50-100 pounds
Preferred qualifications: An Associate degree in Automotive Technology with a minimum ten years of full time demonstrated current work experience in Automotive repair and service; Master ASE Certified with L1; Automotive Manufacture Certifications; teaching and/or training experience; curriculum development; a valid driver's license; and ability to lift a range of 50-100 pounds
