About the firm

Denham Property & Injury Law is a plaintiff-side firm that takes on insurance companies and wins. We are a first-party property insurance litigation practice. We are growing fast, we hold a high bar, and we are just getting started.

The role

We are hiring an Executive Assistant to support our Founder and Principal Attorney directly. This is not a general office admin position. You will be the person who protects his time, runs his calendar, coordinates complex travel, and keeps both the business and the personal side of a fast-moving founder’s life organized and a step ahead.

He runs a growing law firm and handles the firms most important cases, so you will operate at the intersection of legal operations, executive support, and a genuinely high-tempo entrepreneurial environment. The right person is proactive, unflappable, tech-fluent, and completely trustworthy with confidential information.

What you will own

Calendar and inbox

  • Own and defend the founder’s calendar: schedule, reschedule, protect focus blocks, and resolve conflicts before they ever reach him.
  • Triage and manage his inbox: flag what matters, draft and send routine replies in his voice, and make sure nothing important slips.
  • Prep him for each day and each meeting with agendas, context, and materials in advance.

Travel and logistics

  • Plan and book complex travel, domestic and international, including flights, hotels, ground transport, reservations, and detailed itineraries.
  • Handle high-end and last-minute travel with the same precision as routine trips, and rebook calmly when plans change.
  • Coordinate logistics tied to the firm’s expansion, including exploratory trips and setup as new offices come online.

Communications and gatekeeping

  • Serve as a professional, discreet first point of contact on his behalf with clients, staff, vendors, and outside parties.
  • Say no with tact, buffer low-value asks, and route everything to the right person or the right time.
  • Draft clear, well-written correspondence and messages that represent him and the firm well.

Personal and lifestyle

  • Manage personal scheduling and logistics alongside business: appointments, reservations, events, tickets, and errands.
  • Keep recurring personal logistics handled, including logistics around his standard poodle, Skrt, the firm’s mascot.
  • Anticipate needs so the founder can stay focused on building the firm.

Projects and operations support

  • Own small projects and follow-ups end to end, from research to booking to close-out.
  • Track action items and hold deadlines across a lot of moving parts.
  • Partner with the leadership and operations team on ad hoc initiatives.

Who you are

  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail. You catch what others miss
  • Rock-solid discretion and judgment with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proactive and self-directed. You anticipate rather than wait to be told.
  • Calm and unflappable under pressure and last-minute change.
  • Tech-fluent
  • Comfortable supporting both professional and personal responsibilities

Our core values: Loyalty. Dedication. Strong Work Ethic. Determination. Caring. Growth Mindset. Working Smart.
