Plumbing Technician – Service (Residential)

West Madison, WI | Full-Time

Compensation: $45–$67/hr + Performance Bonuses (DOE)

Estimated annual earnings: $62,000–$95,000+ depending on experience, productivity, and incentives

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Technician to join our growing team in the West Madison area. This is a hands-on service role for a technician who can work independently, diagnose plumbing issues efficiently, and deliver high-quality residential service in the field.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, communicates well with customers, and is confident running service calls with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems and fixtures

Handle service calls including leaks, clogs, water heaters, faucets, toilets, and piping issues Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Accurately identify problems and present clear repair options to customers Complete job documentation, invoicing, and service notes Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards Deliver professional, respectful customer service on every call

What We’re Looking For

3–5+ years of residential plumbing service experience preferred

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in the field Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and water heaters Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
