Air Export Coordinator | Miami, FL | Salary up to $65,000
The Air Export Coordinator is responsible for managing international air export shipments from origin through final departure, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, airline regulations, and international shipping standards. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international air export shipments from booking through departure.
- Prepare and process export documentation, including Air Waybills (AWBs), commercial invoices, packing lists, Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLIs), and other required export documents.
- Arrange bookings with airlines and negotiate schedules when appropriate.
- Coordinate pickups with trucking companies and warehouses.
- Communicate shipment status proactively with customers, overseas agents, airlines, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations, TSA security requirements, and customer-specific instructions.
- Submit AES filings or coordinate with the appropriate party to ensure timely filing.
- Verify shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor shipment milestones and resolve delays or service issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate shipment records within the company's transportation management system.
- Review vendor invoices and assist with customer billing.
- Collaborate with import, ocean, customs brokerage, and warehouse teams to provide seamless logistics solutions.
- Support customers with shipment inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in international air export freight forwarding required.
- Knowledge of international air freight documentation and export procedures.
- Experience with airline bookings and coordinating international shipments.
- Familiarity with AES filing requirements and U.S. export compliance.
- Understanding of Incoterms and international shipping practices.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience using freight forwarding software such as CargoWise One, Magaya, Descartes, or similar systems is preferred.
