What We are Looking for

We are seeking compassionate morning caregivers who feel a genuine calling to serve. Those who understand that the morning hours are not simply about routines and tasks, but sacred opportunities to set the tone for the entire day. Mornings in dementia care require patience, gentleness, and encouragement — as residents transition from rest to activity and may feel disoriented, vulnerable, or uncertain.

• A genuine passion for working with seniors, particularly individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Proven experience in a healthcare, senior living, or memory care setting (Strongly Preferred).
• A positive attitude, strong reliability, and a high level of personal accountability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage compassionately and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
• A servant-hearted approach with a sincere desire to enhance the lives of others.

Being present at the start of the day — offering calm guidance, warm reassurance, and respectful assistance with personal care — is deeply meaningful work. Your steady presence helps create confidence, comfort, and dignity from the very first moments of the day.

This is not simply a job to complete a checklist. It is an opportunity to stand alongside someone as they begin anew each morning — to replace confusion with clarity, anxiety with reassurance, and hesitation with trust.

• Providing continuous supervision and ensuring resident safety throughout the day
• Assisting residents with morning care routines, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Supporting safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance
• Serving meals and snacks, and assisting with feeding and hydration as needed
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing companionship
• Responding promptly and attentively to resident needs and requests
• Managing dementia-related behaviors with patience, reassurance, and appropriate redirection
• Documenting care provided and accurately reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate team member
• Collaborating effectively with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality dementia care throughout the shift
