Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of brunch menu items with precision, consistency, and flair, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs, supporting the culinary team’s creativity and efficiency.
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards at all times.
  • Support food preparation activities such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients to streamline service during busy weekend mornings.
  • Maintain an organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen tools and ingredients are properly stored and readily accessible for efficient meal prep.
  • Collaborate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and excellent guest service experience.
  • Follow all health department regulations and safety protocols to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Experience

  • Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly valued, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards.
  • Experience in fine dining or restaurant kitchens is preferred, showcasing your ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
  • Strong culinary background with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal assembly.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, catering practices, and food industry standards enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
  • Proven experience in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures ensures compliance with health regulations.
  • Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrates your adaptability and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for serving others through excellent food service skills and a passion for creating memorable brunch experiences.
