• - Expected hours: 40 per week
• - Schedule Notes: Rooming patients for providers: vitals, finger stick blood glucose/A1Cs. Strong teamwork and communication is appreciated. Dayshift (hours 8:00 am-4:30pm), one location, average 14-18 patients daily.
• Local candidates accepted.
• - Duration: 13 weeks

Required Skills & Experience:

-Three (3) - five (5) years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role.-Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.-Ability to interact professionally with healthcare practitioners and patients.-Ability to effectively communicate information.-Ability to observe and obtain information from all relevant sources.-Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.-Must be detail oriented and complete work tasks.-Ability to maintain composure even in difficult situations.-Ability to be understanding and sensitive to needs of others

Required Education:

-High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Education:

-Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

-Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.

--Additionally, one of the following certifications are required upon hire:

-Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists (AMT).

-Registered Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Personnel.

-Registered Medical Assistant - American Allied Health.

-Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).

-Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National HealthCareer Association.

-National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

-Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant - National Association for Health Professionals.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Required)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

PAY DETAILS:

W2 Traveler Pay Rate: $23.00/ hour

Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $920.00

OR

1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $25.00/ hour

Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $1,000.00
