About the Role Our client, a prominent organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia , is actively seeking a seasoned Lead Financial Analyst to spearhead their financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions. This critical role demands a strategic thinker with a robust analytical background and the capability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial trajectory of the company, working closely with senior leadership to guide strategic decisions, optimize financial performance, and drive profitable growth. The position is based at our main office in Atlanta , Georgia, requiring a dedicated presence to foster seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range strategic plans. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis. Develop financial models to support business case development, investment appraisals, and strategic initiatives. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations. Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements. Provide financial guidance and support to various business units and departments. Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Stay abreast of industry trends and economic conditions that may impact the company's financial performance. Requirements Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A CFA or CPA designation is a significant advantage. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Proven track record of developing sophisticated financial models and performing complex quantitative analysis. Expertise in financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Tableau). Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and valuation methodologies. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
