Branch Manager - Plumbing/HVAC

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Richmond, VA team. As Branch Manager, you will be tasked with driving sales and building relationships with our contractor partners. Successful candidates are professional and trustworthy. They're able to lead team members, always striving to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Founder, Thomas Somerville, opened the National Brass Works in northwest Washington, D.C. in 1861. Today, Thos. Somerville Company is a leading distributor of plumbing and HVAC equipment and supplies, operating 21 branches and 6 showrooms in 5 states and the District of Columbia.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Provide support & direction for your inside & outside sales teams
• Oversee warehouse & delivery operations
• Foster an atmosphere of exceptional customer service
• Develop strong contractor relationships through consistent performance
• Implement plans to drive revenue, meeting branch growth goals
• Promote focus product lines that are aligned with our company direction
• Meet with contractors and drive sales
• Work closely with our vendor partners
• Conduct product training sessions for employees & contractors

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in Plumbing/HVAC trade
• Associate Degree +
• Strong leadership skills
• Mechanically inclined & technically savvy
• Effective communication skills
• Team player
• Hard working & dedicated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
