Job Description:

AmeriCare is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides or Certified Nurse Assistants to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is an urgent case that requires coverage every day of the week.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize good interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and families.
• Perform assessments of patients' overall health status, including their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
• Demonstrate basic hygiene skills including the ability to bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• Demonstrate the ability to position a patient comfortably and safely in bed, a chair, or with support devices.
• Monitor patients' physical comfort using procedures such as turning, positioning, massaging, and skin care.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a healthy and clean environment.
• Help patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication administration. Also, assist with meal preparation, transportation within the facility or community, and light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, to maintain a healthy and clean environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
