Journeyman Electrician (WA 01 / OR Journeyman)

We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Journeyman Electrician with a current Washington State 01 Electrical License and Oregon Journeyman Electrician License to support various multi-family property management locations throughout the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR areas.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, residential service experience, and a solid understanding of electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems in multi-family residential properties.
• Install electrical wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breaker panels, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs by replacing or installing wiring, devices, and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and maps to complete installations.
• Document work performed, observations, diagnoses, and corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following company policies and OSHA safety standards.
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State 01 Electrical License and Oregon Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to reciprocate to Oregon).
• 1-2 years of residential service experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local electrical codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have your own electrical tools ("tooled up").
