Requirements:

Plumbers need to know how to install and repair the following fixtures and lines.

Commercial and Residential

Water heaters gas or electric

Shower manifolds/shower valves

Pipe fittings

Re-pipes

New sewer installation and repair

Install valves, pipe fittings, CPVC and PVC

Drain cleaning of clogged drains

Leaking faucets

Bathtubs

Slab Leak repairs

Garbage Disposals

Toilets

Sinks

HELPERS EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

```Duties```

• Assist plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
• Gather and organize tools and materials for the job
• Dig trenches and prepare work areas for plumbing installations
• Assemble and install pipes and fittings
• Assist with welding and pipe threading as needed
• Perform basic maintenance person tasks such as carpentry and building support structures
• Clean and maintain work areas before, during, and after projects

• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Basic understanding of construction plumbing principles
• Familiarity with hand tools used in plumbing installations
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or long periods of standing or kneeling

Note: This position does not require a specific level of education or previous experience. However, any relevant certifications or training in plumbing or construction would be considered a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbers Helper to assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in construction plumbing and related trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical skills, and a willingness to learn. This role is essential for supporting plumbing projects on construction sites, remodeling jobs, and maintenance tasks across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools
• Support pipe threading, cutting, and fitting activities according to project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems
• Help with welding, carpentry, and remodeling tasks as needed on construction sites
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Carry out basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
• Assist with field service tasks including troubleshooting plumbing issues in residential or commercial settings
• Support the assembly of plumbing components and systems in accordance with industry standards
• Follow safety protocols at all times during construction or maintenance projects

Qualifications

• Prior experience or background in construction, plumbing, or related trades is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading is a plus
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical concepts
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling, or maintenance person work is advantageous
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills on the job
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for field service support but not mandatory
