What if every connection you made helped someone be heard, understood, and supported? At SOSi, recruiting isn’t just about filling roles — it’s about making connection possible when it matters most .

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who sees beyond resumes and job descriptions — someone who understands that behind every language is a person, a culture, and a story. Your mission? To find and engage interpreters who help bridge communication gaps.

This role exists for one core reason: to ensure the right voices show up where they’re needed most.

You’ll focus on high-demand languages like Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Russian, while bringing curiosity and creativity to more specialized language needs when they arise.

If you believe great recruiting is equal parts strategy, empathy, and hustle — you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

Every search you run and every conversation you start is a chance to create impact. You won’t just build pipelines — you’ll build pathways for connection .

Find talent where others aren’t looking

Creatively source interpreters in high-demand languages (especially Spanish and Portuguese) using social platforms, networks, and communities

Build and maintain a strong, ready-to-go pipeline for urgent and high-volume needs

Step into specialized sourcing challenges for rare or indigenous languages when business needs call for it

Turn outreach into relationships

Engage candidates in a way that makes them feel seen, understood, and valued

Assess language skills, certifications, and experience through thoughtful screening conversations

Build trust across diverse communities with authenticity and cultural awareness

Connect with communities

Develop partnerships with universities, cultural groups, and language programs

Stay actively connected to Spanish-speaking and other widely represented language communities

Expand your reach into niche networks when unique language needs arise

Influence hiring through insight

Partner closely with hiring managers to understand what’s urgent, what’s hard, and what matters most

Bring real-time insight into talent availability, market trends, and sourcing strategies

Own the experience

Manage the recruiting lifecycle process while ensuring compliance with all policies and requirements

Keep processes smooth, organized, and candidate-focused

Represent something meaningful

Help position SOSi as a place where interpreters can grow, contribute, and do meaningful work

Tell a story that resonates with candidates who want more than just a job

Measure and improve

Track pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring progress

Continuously refine your approach to deliver better, faster, smarter results

What you bring

2 to 4 Years of Experience in recruiting or sourcing — ideally within language services or high-volume environments

Proven ability to find and engage talent in commonly spoken languages (Spanish strongly preferred)

Comfort working across diverse communities and cultural contexts

A Bachelor’s Degree; however, relevant language experience can be substituted in lieu of.

Strong communication skills and a relationship-driven mindset

Creativity, persistence, and the ability to solve sourcing challenges

Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS platforms, Boolean search, and social media sourcing

Sound judgment and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment

Bonus points if you have

Experience supporting high-volume or fast-paced hiring needs

Exposure to sourcing for rare, indigenous, or specialized languages is a big plus.

Fluency in another language — especially Spanish, Hindi, or French

The environment

This is a role for someone who thrives in pace, variety, and purpose-driven work. Priorities will shift. Hiring needs will evolve. And every day will bring a new challenge to solve.

You’ll operate in a hybrid environment, with occasional demands that require travel.

Why this role matters

Every interpreter you hire helps remove a barrier.

Every connection you make helps someone be understood.
