Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
- Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
- Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in before arrival
- Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and addresses questions or transfers as needed
- Responsible for issuing bank. Counts bank at beginning and end of shift. Ensures that all cash drops are done in accordance with proper cash handling procedures and reports all cash over/shorts to management
- Keeps front desk area clean and organized
- Assists with lobby activation as needed
- Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data
- Follows checklist when checking in or out with guests. Always retrieves necessary identification documents and form of payment upon arrival
- Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
- Perform various other duties as assigned
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Qualifications
This position might require covering Night Auditor shift, two times a week.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations
- In‑depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
- Minimum high school education
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
