About the role
This position will play a vital role in our high-volume mail-order pharmacy. As a closed-door pharmacy, our focus is on fulfilling patient prescriptions.
Fulfillment Managers play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders, shipment of products, inventory management, and quality control. This position requires a blend of operational knowledge, leadership ability, and strong organizational skills to maintain smooth fulfillment operations and meet customer expectations. in an accurate, timely manner. Patient interaction will be limited.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily workflow of pharmacy technicians to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with laws and policies.
Assign daily tasks and monitor technician performance.
Serve as the point of contact between technicians, pharmacists, and management.
Assist with policy and procedure updates to improve workflow.
Handle complex or escalated prescription issues.
Maintain and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Train new pharmacy technicians and technician trainees on workflow, systems, and pharmacy policy.
Provide day-to-day work direction and informal performance feedback to pharmacy technicians and technician trainees; refer hiring and termination decisions to the Pharmacist in Charge or Operations Manager.
Provide the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Operations Manager with input on staff performance, coaching needs, and disciplinary matters.
Support the PIC with special projects, process improvement initiatives, and the implementation of new systems or automation.
Excellent team support by resolving issues quickly and professionally.
