About Situation

Situation is a full-service marketing and advertising agency specializing in live entertainment, arts, and culture. From Broadway's biggest titles to leading cultural institutions, we partner with organizations that bring people together for shared experiences — and we build the strategies, campaigns, and partnerships that fill their houses. We believe great work comes from curious, collaborative people who care deeply about the industries we serve.

About the Role

We're looking for a Vice President, Account Services to serve as a senior strategic leader within our Client Services department. You'll shape the long-term vision for some of the agency's most significant clients, operating as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and influencing their business and marketing strategy at the enterprise level — not just campaign execution.

This is a role for someone who thinks like an owner: you'll be accountable for the commercial health of your portfolio, the growth of your clients' businesses, and the development of a high-performing team of account leaders. You'll report to agency leadership and operate as a member of the senior leadership team, with a voice in agency-wide strategic and structural decisions.

What You'll Do

Define and steward the overarching business and marketing strategy for your client portfolio, ensuring every initiative ladders up to clients' enterprise objectives and long-range growth ambitions.

Own the commercial health of the portfolio — revenue forecasting, margin performance, pacing, and budget stewardship — driving accountability through your team while maintaining executive-level visibility into financial outcomes.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, positioning Situation as an indispensable strategic partner.

Architect organic growth strategies across existing clients: identifying whitespace opportunities, expanding scopes of work, and empowering your team to pursue and close incremental growth.

Represent Situation externally as a senior voice of the agency — at industry events, in client conference rooms, and among key decision-makers — cultivating relationships that generate future business.

Lead the hiring and development of your account team, building a leadership bench that scales with the business.

Coach and develop direct reports (Account Director, Account Supervisor, Senior Account Executive) with clear growth plans and succession pathways.

Partner across departments and verticals as a member of senior leadership to identify new revenue streams, improve operating systems, and drive organizational innovation agency-wide.
