Job Overview
Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in various facilities across selective states. The role requires the LPN to provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff. The LPN will respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs while traveling between facilities within the assigned state.
Travel Details
Travel LPNs needed in the following states:
- Missouri
- Georgia
- Idaho
- Illinois
- Maryland
Weekly pay ranges from $1,625 to $2,685 per week, based on location. Compensation is a combination of taxed hours worked and a non-taxed stipend; some locations offer 5x8 per week. Travel assignments are short-term.
Qualifications
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in the assigned state
- IV Certification (required in some programs)
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility (preferred)
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
