The Bartender position is fundamental in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for patrons. This role demands a highly customer-focused individual who takes initiative and thrives in a team environment with flexible, variable hours that can accommodate personal schedules. Responsibilities include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant areas, and delivering outstanding guest service even during busy periods. This role also requires compliance with state liquor laws and company policies, including verifying legal age and monitoring customer intoxication levels to ensure safe alcohol service. Working in this position involves being active and mobile throughout the evening, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of the cinema and bistro. The environment is fast-paced with customers arriving before movie showings, requiring quick, precise, and courteous service. Employees must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting frequently. An emphasis is placed on teamwork, safety, and adhering to regulatory requirements, including mandatory Safe Beverage Service and Food Handlers training.
