Job Summary

Boardriders Hawaiʻi is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our Waikīkī flagship store team. Located near the iconic Duke Kahanamoku statue, our flagship store represents the heart of surf and action sports culture. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver outstanding customer service, assist guests in finding the right products, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, energetic team representing leading brands that include Quiksilver, Billabong, Volcom, Roxy, and RVCA, while contributing to an elevated shopping experience that reflects the Boardriders lifestyle and Hawaiʻi’s unique surf heritage.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selection and answer questions
• Represent the brand with actions and knowledge of products
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves and organizing displays
• Meet or exceed sales goals when applicable
• Handle customer concerns professionally
• Maintain floor appearance and cleanliness
• Follow store policies and safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus (but not required)
• Familiarity with the brands and action sports industry
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and basic math skills
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items
