DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists
- Gather parts, subassemblies, tools and materials required for component assembly
- Use diagrams, assembly instructions, blueprints specifications to assemble components by hand and using small power tools
- Examine and verify specifications and quality for completed component against prints
- Install components in sinks, showers etc.
- Maintain safe, clean and organized work station by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
- Work as a team by demonstrating willingness to work on different projects as needed
- Follow all business policies and procedures
- Observe all safety and environmental rules and regulations at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Basic knowledge of small parts assembly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and drawings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer experience
- Ability to use small power and hand tools
- Ability to work as part of a team including with other departments
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of small parts assembly preferred but will train
- Prior experience in detail oriented environment
- Experience using small power and hand tools
- Warehouse inventory knowledge helpful but not required
- Prior experience identifying parts by part number
- Working and communicating in a team environment
- Prior plumbing experience helpful but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Non air conditioned work environment
- Tools provided
- Safety training and other required PPE of steel/composite toe shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs
- Lifting 20 lbs. routinely, up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Bending/stooping approximately 50% of the time
- Push and pull 20 lbs. routinely, up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
