- Pay: $17.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No weekends!)
- Location: Centerville, OH

PrideStaff is partnering with a highly respected, locally-owned Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation practice to find an energetic, empathetic, and organized Medical Receptionist. Medical Receptionist - Key Responsibilities
- The First Impression: Greet patients, athletes, and visitors with a warm, encouraging smile. Maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming waiting room environment.
- Smart Scheduling: Manage complex appointment books for multiple physical therapists and physical therapy assistants (PTAs). Coordinate same-day appointments, follow-ups, and complimentary patient discovery visits.
- Patient Intake & Check-In: Guide new and existing patients through the registration process, verify demographic information, and ensure all digital or paper health intake forms are accurately completed.
- Insurance Verification & Coordination: Check insurance eligibility and benefits for a wide variety of commercial, private, and workers' comp plans. Clearly explain insurance coverage, copays, and authorization requirements to patients.
- Financial Stewardship: Collect copays, deductibles, and point-of-service balances. Efficiently manage bill pay inquiries and post payments accurately into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to digital appointment requests, follow up on patient appointment reminders, and manage incoming/outgoing medical faxes and referrals.
Medical Receptionist - What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a receptionist or front desk coordinator in a medical office, chiropractic clinic, or physical therapy setting is preferred.
- Customer Service Obsessed: A patient-first mindset. You understand that patients may be in pain or anxious, and you meet them with empathy, patience, and exceptional care.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or scheduling software.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to accurately handle insurance data, collect payments, and manage a fast-moving front desk without missing a beat.
- Reliable & Professional: Exceptional attendance, a strong work ethic, and a professional demeanor.
