We are seeking a Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting functions, with a critical focus on Medicare reporting and regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment.

This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. The ideal candidate will bring deep healthcare accounting expertise and a thorough understanding of reimbursement and reporting requirements.

Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting

Lead and manage Medicare and cost reporting processes, ensuring full regulatory compliance

Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific regulatory requirements

Coordinate and lead the annual audit process

Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies

Partner with leadership on financial performance, budgeting, and operational insights

Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team

Healthcare industry experience required (hospital, health system, rehabilitation, post-acute, or similar)

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, and audit
• Experience in a multi-entity or complex organizational structure

Accounting leader with deep experience in Medicare reimbursement and reporting

CPA with healthcare-focused public accounting experience and exposure to cost reporting

This role goes beyond traditional accounting oversight. You will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, guiding financial strategy, and supporting leadership in a complex healthcare environment.
