Bluebonnet Medical Services LLC is looking for qualified EMT-Basics and Paramedics to join our growing Dallas division for upcoming event medical standby coverage.
We are currently seeking providers available for June 24 through June 28 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a great opportunity for EMS professionals who have prior 911 experience and are interested in event medicine, standby medical coverage, and working with a growing Texas-based medical services company.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide on-site medical standby coverage for events
Assess and treat patients within your scope of practice
Respond professionally to minor injuries, illness, heat-related concerns, and emergency situations
Complete basic patient documentation as needed
Communicate effectively with event staff, public safety, and Bluebonnet Medical Services leadership
Represent Bluebonnet Medical Services in a professional and reliable manner
Requirements:
Current Texas EMT-Basic certification or Paramedic certification
Must be located in or near the DFW area
Prior 911 EMS experience required
Must be available for shifts between June 24 and June 28
Professional appearance and communication
Reliable transportation
Ability to work independently in an event medical standby setting
CPR certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working large events, festivals, sporting events, or public gatherings
Bilingual English/Spanish
Active or recent fire/EMS experience
Pay:
EMT-Basic: $25/hour
Paramedic: $30/hour
