We are an established utility construction company based in Texas, looking to add an experienced, reliable, and dedicated Heavy Equipment & Fleet Diesel Mechanic to our team. Job Description:
As a Heavy Equipment & Fleet Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of our fleet trucks and heavy equipment. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to take on various tasks in the shop and in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery.
- Conduct heavy equipment diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and repair F350, F450, F550 fleet trucks and other related vehicles.
- Update vehicle records to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Complete any additional tasks or assignments as requested by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in diesel engine repairs, hydraulics, and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Skilled in diagnostics and repair of heavy equipment and fleet vehicles, specifically F350, F450, F550 trucks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a shop and field setting.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
