Medical Assistant

Accompany patients into exam rooms to obtain medical history, including allergies, medications and history of chronic illness.

Efficiently use EMR for documentation.

Call patients with lab results

Return patient calls to answer an array of questions, after guidance from provider.

Clean and stock rooms

Sterilize instruments and wash/fold patient gowns

Assist providers during procedures and minor surgeries.

Ability to work with multiple providers and other medical staff

Must provide exceptional patient care

Ability to multi task and perform a variety of MA skills.

Reliable and punctual

Experience:

Experience in Dermatology preferred, 1+ years in prior medical assisting role.

Education:

High School Diploma

Certifications/Licenses:

Medical Assistant certificate preferred but not required.
