Security Officer – Gated HOA Community | Culver City Area

Guard-Systems, Inc. is hiring experienced Security Officers for a gated HOA community in the Culver City area.

This position is a strong mix of customer service, access control, and walking patrol. Officers rotate between gate/access control duties and patrol duties throughout the shift, typically switching every 2 hours. We are looking for someone who understands HOA security, can communicate professionally with residents and guests, and is comfortable staying active and visible on property.

This is not just a “sit at the gate” position. We need someone who can provide great service while also maintaining a strong security presence.

Available Full-Time Schedules

Graveyard Shift:Thursday – Monday11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Day + Swing Shift:Monday – Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMSaturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate

$19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Greet residents, guests, vendors, and visitors professionallyMonitor access into the gated communityConduct walking patrols throughout the propertyRotate between gate duties and patrol duties during the shiftMaintain a visible, alert, and professional security presenceRespond to and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concernsComplete daily activity reports and incident reports as neededFollow all site procedures and post ordersProvide excellent customer service while maintaining security standards

Requirements

Must have a valid California Guard CardMust have previous HOA, gated community, or residential security experienceMust be comfortable with both customer service and patrol dutiesMust be able to complete incident reports clearly and professionallyMust be reliable, punctual, and professionalMust be comfortable walking and being visible on propertyMust be able to work independentlyMust be available for one of the full-time schedules listed above
