CNC Mill Machinist
Location: Akron, OH
Pay Rate: $22.00–$23.00/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
The CNC Mill Machinist plans, programs, and operates mills or lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications and blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Set tools, offsets, feeds, and speeds
- Program and operate CNC mills or lathes
- Maintain tight tolerances and part quality
- Inspect parts and perform quality checks
- Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
- Communicate quality concerns clearly
- Follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Maintain reliable attendance and willingness to learn new machines
