Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and product specifications.
- Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes.
- Implement quality assurance procedures aligned with HACCP principles and CGMP guidelines to maintain safety and consistency across manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Participate in internal and external quality management system audits, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Proficiency with quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Experience working within manufacturing environments adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and related quality standards.
- Strong analysis skills for interpreting measurement data and identifying root causes of quality deviations.
- Knowledge of quality systems management including QA/QC processes, documentation practices, and audit procedures.
- Familiarity with Calypso software or similar calibration management tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform detailed data collection, record keeping, and report generation accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
