Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer timely medication reminders and assistance.
• Prepare nutritious meals, assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and recreational activities, enhancing their quality of life.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, providing support and companionship.
• Monitor and report any significant changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisory nurse or manager.
• Adhere strictly to all state regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in caregiving is preferred.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification (provided after hiring, if needed).
• A patient and caring personality, coupled with excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
