Medical Billing Specialist - Up to $37/hr

Required Skills:

• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
• Excellent letter writing abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Familiarity with Windows operating environment
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Understanding of medical terminology is a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Effectively enter charges received from the doctor's office on a daily basis.
• Input patient demographic and insurance information into our computer system as required.
• Ensure high accuracy when entering charges, collaborating with the doctor's office to obtain any missing information such as insurance cards, authorizations, and operative reports.
