Quality Control Inspector

Kelly Services is hiring Quality Control Inspectors for a manufacturing and fabrication environment in Hampton, VA. This role supports make-to-print manufacturing by inspecting raw materials, in-process work, machined/fabricated components, assemblies, and finished products.

This is a great fit for someone with strong blueprint reading, precision measurement, dimensional inspection, and quality documentation experience

What You’ll

• DoInspect machined parts, fabricated components, assemblies, and finished produc
• ts.Verify parts meet drawings, specifications, customer requirements, contract flowdowns, and internal quality standar
• ds.Perform receiving, first article, in-process, final, and dimensional inspectio
• ns.Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators, pin gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection equipme
• nt.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, work instructions, and customer specificatio
• ns.Document inspection results using reports, check sheets, quality records, and electronic syste
• ms.Identify and document nonconforming produ
• ct.Communicate quality concerns with production, engineering, and quality tea
• ms.Support corrective actions, root cause activity, and process improvemen
• ts.Maintain and properly handle calibrated inspection tools and gaug
