Housekeeper-$14 per hour-FT

Job Overview

This is a position has variable start times that could change based on business needs.

Our expectation is that you able to service 17 rooms per shift.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality housekeeping services while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to health and safety standards.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, folding, and organizing linens.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff to promote a welcoming environment.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to uphold hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
