Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, prep stations, and restrooms through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
• Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, assembling ingredients, and stocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring a tidy environment for guests

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
• Experience in grocery stores or café environments is advantageous
